The way diseases- and vulnerable groups of people- were treated through history can tell us a lot about human societies in the modern day, and how we cope with disaster, disease, and uncertainty. We've always enjoyed exploring these themes together, and now invite you to join us on that journey! 

Angeliki is a doctoral student at the University of Oxford who studies the history of disease in colonial North America.

Maya has a PhD from McMaster University discussing the decolonization of sexual and reproductive health in developing areas.

They both love wine, cheese, true crime, and maintaining a faint grasp on their faith in humanity.
